CMP is interested in any printable resource that serves the church. If you write your own Bible studies, stewardship materials, or if you always wanted to write a book run your materials and ideas past us and we may be able to publish it.
What is CMP’s editorial/theological view?
We are interested in materials that promote historical, liturgical and confessional Lutheranism as taught in the Book of Concord.
What if my document is not very attractive or laid out very well?
Don’t worry about layout. CMP will handle that. We will add photos, edit font, etc. so that your document will look attractive. We will also edit it and make suggestions for revision if necessary.
How does CMP compensate its writers?
We pay the writers for each book/resource sold. Our rates are very generous, sometimes as high as 20% of the sale price of each book/resource.
What format should I send my manuscript in?
We use Word and Publisher and prefer those formats but will work with you if you do not have access to these formats.
