My One Thing for the Lord Time and Talents Program, by Donna Linnemeyer and Tim Rossow

How would you like to increase the number of volunteers in your congregation by 10 to 25% and even more? My One Thing for the Lord, Because He Has Given So Much to Me is a stewardship program of time and talents. It challenges every member of the congregation to be involved in at least one volunteer area of the parish. It motivates the members to do so through the Word of God preached from the pulpit and taught in Bible class. Members are given a chance to sign up for their service opportunity at a fair and brunch which features booths from each service area in the congregation.
